ABOUT
Meet our Founder
Carley Montgomery
Carley Montgomery is an intuitive wellness guide and natural builder with a lifelong devotion to creating harmony between people and the land. With a background in real estate development and construction, she brings decades of hands-on experience, craftsmanship, and design expertise to a practice that bridges the physical and the spiritual.
Her work unites architecture, ecology, and healing — helping people create homes and environments that support health, balance, and connection to nature. Through Sanctuary, Carley integrates craftsmanship with consciousness, using natural materials and regenerative methods to restore both spaces and souls.
As the founder of Sanctuary Trust, a faith-based initiative dedicated to building healing spaces in nature, Carley’s mission extends far beyond conventional design. The Trust focuses on creating places where individuals can reconnect with the earth and their Creator — through fasting, stillness, and immersion in the natural world.
Carley lives in Pollock, Idaho, on a rugged expanse of wilderness she is transforming into a living model of her philosophy — a regenerative landscape featuring underground natural shelters, fasting camps, and creative spaces built directly into the earth. There, she continues her work as both builder and guide, demonstrating that true wellness begins not with what we consume or construct, but with how deeply we connect to the source of life itself.
